Ingredients

1 pound ground beef

(1) (15 oz) can sweet corn, drained

1 cup mild, chunky salsa

¼ cup sliced black olives

3 ½ cups cooked egg noodles

(1) (15.25 oz) can of kidney beans, drained and rinsed

¼ cup taco sauce

1 (1.25 oz) package taco seasoning mix

½ cup tomato sauce

Steps

First, preheat the oven to 325/165.

While this is heating up, get a skillet, put the ground beef in there, and then cook this on a medium heat level until it’s very evenly browned. Drain the mixture.

Get a small baking dish and put the corn, the beef, the olives, the salsa, the noodles, the beans, the seasoning mix, the taco sauce, and the tomato sauce in there until everything is fully mixed together.

You can then put this in the oven and then bake this for at least a half hour. From there, divvy it out into small containers and then serve it!

Tips

What’s the best way to store this one?

For a lot of people, this is a great dish that they can take with them to a family gathering or other kinds of events. If you’re going to, you should try to keep this in a regular casserole dish, or one that contains a lid. This is something that makes it easy for you to carry and transport.

If you’re going to put this in the freezer or the fridge, you should try to get plastic pans, since this will hold it well, and prevent it from going bad as well.  It’s a great dish to take to potlucks, and also to other people if you bring them food.

Fridge or Freezer for this?

Because there is meat in it, the freezer is usually the better option for this, however, there is the noodles to factor in, so keep that in mind when you’re also getting these dishes, as that can play a part in how you store it.

If you plan to eat it right away, just keep it in the fridge, and when it’s time, you can take it out, divvy it up, and then eat it from there!

No matter what, this is a great dish for you to try whenever you need an easy item to make, and one that really does give the taste buds a run for their money as well.
