Sweet and Spicy Marinade Salmon :
Ingredients
β 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
β 1/4 cup soy sauce
β 2 tablespoons honey
β 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
β 1 tablespoon sesame oil
β 1 tablespoon sriracha or chili paste
β 2 cloves garlic, minced
β 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
β 1 teaspoon sesame seeds (optional)
β 2 green onions, sliced (optional)
Preparation
1. Prepare Marinade: In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, sriracha or chili paste, minced garlic, and grated ginger until well combined.
2. Marinate Salmon: Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish or resealable plastic bag. Pour the marinade over the salmon, ensuring each fillet is well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours.
3. Preheat Oven or Grill: If using the oven, preheat it to 400Β°F (200Β°C). If grilling, preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
4. Cook Salmon: If baking, place the marinated salmon fillets on a lined baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork. If grilling, place the fillets on the grill and cook for 4-5 minutes per side, or until cooked through.
5. Garnish and Serve: If desired, sprinkle the cooked salmon with sesame seeds and sliced green onions before serving. Enjoy your Sweet and Spicy Marinade Salmon with your favorite sides!
