Ingredients:
1 pound ground beef
1 small onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 can (10.5 ounces) cream of mushroom soup
1 cup sour cream
2 cups cooked egg noodles
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon dried thyme
Salt and pepper to taste
Olive oil for cooking
Preparation:
Preheat oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Cook the beef: In a large skillet, heat a bit of olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes. Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute. Add the ground beef and cook until browned. Drain any excess fat.
Mix the casserole: In a large bowl, combine the cooked beef mixture, cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, Worcestershire sauce, dried thyme, salt, and pepper. Stir in the cooked egg noodles and mix well.
Assemble the casserole: Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13-inch baking dish. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese and grated Parmesan cheese evenly over the top.
Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the casserole is heated through.
Serve: Let the casserole cool for a few minutes before serving.
