Classic, sweet and creamy, this apple based salad dessert is a real hit with kids. Made with lots of milk, snicker bars, and a dripping caramel sauce, now you have more options no how to use your apples.

When apples appear so plentiful in the fall, thinking up ways to use them can be a worry sometimes. I mean, everyone loves apples, especially the kids, but continually eating plain apples can get boring. Sure you could make apple pie, apple cake, apple fritters etc., but nothing screams fun like this delicious snickers caramel apple salad. Milk, snicker bars and apples, this has got to be a heaven made combo.

It may be called a salad, but this really isn’t a salad, it’s actually a dessert, though my kids happily justify themselves as having eaten salads whenever they take this. The best part about this heavenly mix is that it’s quite simple to prepare, the ingredients are inexpensive and just a few.

However, you would have to spend some time waiting for this to chill in the refrigerator before you’re ready to dig in.

If you’re looking for the best way to give yourself and your kids a treat, then this is your best bet.

Tips and variations:
