Everyone loves pizza, but did you know, you can make a dish that’s a combination of BOTH pizza and grilled cheese. This is perfect for those who want something that’s not just a giant, greasy pizza slice, but something that’s easy to make, and it is also very good for you.

It’s similar to a sandwich in texture, but it does beat all of the other pizzas that you see out there.

And the best part, is that it is something that isn’t filled with a ton of grease or anything that you’re trying to avoid, so if you love pizza, but are a bit guilty for having this, then you’ll want to try this, since this is the perfect guilt-free pizza out there on the market.

Ingredients

4 Pieces of sliced bread (Buttered on the Outside)
4 Slices of Mozzarella Cheese
Pepperoni (cut in half or mini)
Italian seasoning or basil
Parmesan cheese (optional)
pizza sauce (for dipping)

Steps

First, you want to get a skillet that’s medium or large, heating it up on medium heat.

Butter one side of this slice of toast.

When the skillet get nice and hot, you can put the buttered side of this down onto the skillet itself, and from there, add a slice of cheese, and a little shake of basil or Italian seasoning.

Some people like to add a little bit of Parmesan cheese as well if they want.

You can then add over the top of this the amount of pepperoni that you want to have 9usually around 8-10 of these, or sometimes a little more or less, depending on what you want)

If you have other toppings you’d like to add to this, put them on there now, including sausage, chicken, and whatnot.

From there, add a final slice of mozzarella, and then, add another slice of bread, this time with the buttered side upwards on there.

Take this, and then repeat it as well with your second sandwich.

When you start to notice that the slice at the bottom is a golden-brown color, you want to carefully flip this over, cooking the other side as desired.

If you’re going to make them nice and brown, you may need to wait a bit longer, but once both sides of this are done, you can remove this from your pan, and then add some pizza sauce to the side of this as you see fit.

If you want to add sausage or even chicken to this, you should make sure that it’s also fully cooked, as it doesn’t really cook once it’s inside the grilled cheese.
