Ingredients
โ 1 pound ground beef or turkey
โ 1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes
โ 1 can (15 oz) pineapple chunks, drained
โ 1 can (15 oz) kidney beans, drained and rinsed
โ 1 small onion, chopped
โ 2 cloves garlic, minced
โ 1 tablespoon chili powder
โ 1 teaspoon cumin
โ 1/2 teaspoon paprika
โ Salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
1. Brown the Meat: In a large pot, cook the ground beef or turkey over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat if needed.
2. Add Vegetables and Spices: Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the pot. Cook until the onion is softened. Stir in chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper.
3. Combine Ingredients: Add the diced tomatoes, kidney beans, and pineapple chunks to the pot. Stir everything together and bring to a simmer.
4. Simmer: Reduce the heat to low and let the chili simmer for 20-30 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the flavors are well combined.
