This is a unique bread because it’s first and foremost, got no carbs. That’s not something you normally find I a bread dish, but for those of us watching our carbs, as on keto or other low-carb diets, this is one of the best to help with this.

You can also see that the texture of this is unique and different too. It’s got a light, fluffy texture that’s resemblant of a cloud, similar to the way that they look. This light, airy bread is perfect for those who want something that’s good and tasty, but also doesn’t have the guilt that normally comes with this.

It’s the perfect snack treat, and you’ll definitely love the way these taste. Best of all, without the carbs, it’s a great way to get the most out of your food, and also doesn’t mean you have to waste carbs on this either!

INGREDIENTS:

Nonstick cooking spray or Silpat
3 eggs, separated
⅛ teaspoon cream of tartar
3 ounces sour cream
⅛ teaspoon salt

Steps:

Preheat the oven to 300 degrees. Take a cookie sheet, and then line this with either parchment paper or silpat, and then, spray the top of this with a nonstick spray.

Take time to separate the eggs, making sure there’s no yolk inside the whites putting the whites in a bowl that’s clean and not greasy.

Take a clean whisk that’s not greasy, and from there, whip up the whites of the eggs, along with the cream of tartar until everything gets nice and stiff.

Get another bowl, and then combine the sour cream, the yolks, and the salt, until it starts to smooth it out.

Spoon about 6 different mounds of this into a baking sheet that’s prepared.

From there, take a spatula, and then lightly flatten the top of this so that it’s flat in texture.

Put them in the oven, and then, bake this for around 30-40 minutes or until it becomes a golden brown color.

Put them on a rack to cool or on the top of the stove for a few minutes to cool these.

When they’re cooled enough to handle, transfer all of that to a rack that’s wired so that they’re cooled fully. You do want to be careful with this, since they are a little breakable at this stage.

Once they’re fully cooled, you can serve this! Have this with some no-carb options such as maybe a no-carb fruit spread or a no-carb butter.

You can put these in a Ziploc bag to save them, if you want to use this for other items, including sandwiches, which helps make them nice and unique. They are fine to put in the fridge for a couple days, so if you want to save this, you sure can!
