INGREDIENTS

CRUST:

1 1/4 cups salted pretzels

6 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

1/4 cup brown sugar

FILLING:

1/2 cup cream cheese, softened

1/3 cup smooth peanut butter

1/4 cup brown sugar

1/2 cup 35-percent whipping cream, whipped

CHOCOLATE WHIPPED CREAM:

3/4 cup roughly chopped dark chocolate

2 cups 35-percent whipping cream

Chocolate shavings, optional

Steps

First, you’ve got to make the pie crust through pulsing the pretzels within a food processor until they’re ground in a fine, firm manner.

Get a big bowl, and then combine the crumbs of pretzels you just pulsed with the brown sugar, and the butter. Take your hands and then mix it together or use a small spoon.

Take the mixture and spread it to the bottom of a pie plate, making sure it covers up the sides of it.

Cover the top of this and then throw it in the fridge

Take time to make the filling, combining the peanut butter, cream cheese, and the brown sugar into a bowl, combining it until it smooths out.

Fold the whipped cream into there, and then, take the filling and place this in the now chilled pie shell, spreading all of this out so that it’s perfectly mixed in together.

Cover this, and then put it in the fridge.

For your whipped topping made of chocolate, first you want to take the chocolate along with the whipped cream and place it in the double broiler on a medium heat level. Whisk this until everything is fully melted. Then, take it and place it in the fridge.

Cover all of this until this is cooled down. Once this is, take the chocolate, beat this onto there with a mixing device, and then do this until everything is spreadable and is thick enough to work with. Try not to overmix this.

Take the pie and cover this with the whipped chocolate cream on top of this, and then garnish this whole thing with some chocolate shavings if you want to use that.

If you want to, you can serve this immediately, or then refrigerate all of this for another couple of hours. Slice it up, and from there, you can enjoy this amazing kind of pie, that’s perfect for when you’ve got that craving and need some pie to really hit those taste buds.
