Ingredients:

1 cake mix ( white or yellow cake mix )
½ cup cocoa
½ cup sugar
2 cups chocolate chips
1 cup chocolate syrup
8 oz. tub Cool Whip
2 cups Coconut, shredded

Steps:

Preheat your oven to 350, and from there, grease a baking dish.

Mix your cake mix based on the package, but then add the sugar and the coca. Make sure to blend this completely.

Prepare this by putting it inside a baking dish. From there, take two cups of the chocolate chips and then spread it over the cake top.

Bake this for about 30 or so minutes, and then, take it out of the oven. While it’s warm, you should use a meat fork or a small spoon to poke some holes inside of this.

Take the chocolate syrup and warm it either in the microwave or on the oven, making sure that it’s smooth in consistency.

Pour the chocolate all over the cake that’s hot.

From there, once the cake is fully coated, you can cover the cake, and then, put it in the fridge to let this fully cool overnight.

From there, once it’s time to get ready to serve, you should get the whipped cream along with the coconut and put it together, mixing it together to create a frosting. You can do this with a blender to make it easier, but the texture should be smooth.

From there, take a knife or a spoon, and then spread this all over the cake. Make sure that it’s covered with this.

From there, put it back inside the fridge until it’s time for you to serve this. You can then slice up the cake, and then, it’s ready for you to go!

Notes:

This is a fun, unique cake that if you have friends or family who absolutely adore mounds, then you’ll want to get them this. It’s a pretty straightforward cake that does the job and then some, and it’s a cake that, once you get a taste of it, if you love the rich, coconut texture of this, then you’ll definitely have a field day with this one, for it’s a simple cake to make.
