16 frozen meatballs or homemade below

2 cups pasta sauce or marinara sauce

4 hoagie rolls

4 tablespoons garlic butter

1 cup shredded provolone or mozzarella cheese

Meatballs (or use frozen meatballs if preferred)

1 pound lean ground beef

1 egg

½ cup seasoned bread crumbs

½ teaspoon Italian seasoning

½ teaspoon onion powder

salt and pepper to taste

Steps

You want to take your meatballs and prepare as directed. If you’re going to make your own meatballs, you want to take all of the ingredients for the meatballs, put them in a bowl, and then, use your hands to mix and combine this together.

Take this, and then roll it into balls that are about an inch or so, and then put them on a baking sheet that’s parchment-lined. Preheat the oven to 350, and then put it in there for at least 20 minutes, or until the meatballs are cooked through.

Take the meatballs out of the oven, and then, put them in a saucepan that has the pasta sauce already in it. Heat it up to medium heat, and then turn it low. Cover it with a lid, and then, let it sit for about 10 minutes.
