Lemon Pudding Cake :
Ingredients
โ 1/2 cup granulated sugar
โ 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
โ 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
โ 1/4 teaspoon salt
โ 2 large eggs
โ 1 cup milk
โ 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
โ 1 tablespoon lemon zest
โ 1/4 cup melted butter
โ Powdered sugar for dusting (optional)
Preparation
1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC). Grease a 4-cup baking dish or individual ramekins.
2. Prepare Dry Ingredients: In a medium bowl, whisk together the granulated sugar, flour, baking powder, and salt.
3. Mix Wet Ingredients: In another bowl, beat the eggs until well combined. Stir in the milk, fresh lemon juice, lemon zest, and melted butter.
4. Combine Ingredients: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, whisking until smooth.
5. Bake: Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish or ramekins. Place the dish or ramekins in a larger baking pan and add hot water to the larger pan until it reaches halfway up the sides of the baking dish. Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
