Are you a fan of chocolate chips, but you don’t feel like making a sheet of cookies? Or maybe you see those cookie bars, but you don’t’ have the time or the energy to cook something like that?
You’re not alone. In this, we’ll go over how you can make some chocolate chip cookie bars that absolutely pop, and something that, whenever you feel that urge to have something sweet, it’s just one cookie away, which is what makes it a huge plus for a lot of people who do love cookies and these bars as well.
You can make them ahead of time, or you can make them right when you crave them and then save these for later. No matter what, there’s a lot that you can work with, and a lot of great benefits to having these cookie bars right at your disposal.
Ingredients:
1 stick of butter
2 eggs
1 yellow cake mix
1 bag of semi-sweet chocolate chips
Steps
First, take the butter and then put it in a bowl. Make sure to melt it fully.
Take each egg and whisk it into the butter mixture, until it’s fully combined.
Take the cake mix and just pour it in, whisking this together with the rest of the ingredients until it’s all properly combined and becomes a batter mixture.
From here, take the chocolate chips and mix it in until it’s all incorporated with your batter. You should be able to see a variety of chocolate chips within this.
From here, take this and put it in a greased baking pan. You might need to press it down and spread it with a spoon if you want to make this, but you’re not sure if it will hold.
From here, preheat the oven to 350 if you haven’t already. Once it’s ready, you can bake this for about 9-13 minutes of it’s a larger pan.
For smaller pans, it can be 25-28 minutes. You should be able to see hat it’s done when the mixture is lightly browned, and the cookies look baked and warm.
Pull it out, let it sit to chill. Once it’s sat to chill, you can then serve them warm, or if you want to make them strictly like a bar, you can put them in the fridge and let sit for an hour or so.
When it’s time, grab a knife and from there cut up each of the different parts of the bars into small serving pieces. From there, you can serve it, or if you want to keep them for later, get an airtight container and place them in there. You can then leave them in there for a longer period of time, sometime sup to a month before they start to get stale, so you’ll have a lot of great options in terms of the bars that you want, and something that really does make it worthwhile.
