Frozen S’mores
Ingredients
– 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
– 1/4 cup granulated sugar
– 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
– 1 cup mini marshmallows
– 1 cup chocolate chips
– 2 cups vanilla ice cream or frozen yogurt
– 1/2 cup heavy cream
– 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Preparation
1. Prepare Crust: In a medium bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, granulated sugar, and melted butter. Mix until the crumbs are evenly coated. Press the mixture into the bottom of an 8×8-inch baking dish to form the crust.
2. Make Marshmallow Layer: Spread the mini marshmallows evenly over the graham cracker crust.
3. Melt Chocolate: In a small saucepan, heat the chocolate chips and heavy cream over low heat, stirring constantly, until smooth and melted. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
4. Assemble: Spread the vanilla ice cream or frozen yogurt evenly over the marshmallow layer. Drizzle the melted chocolate over the top.
5. Freeze: Cover the dish with plastic wrap and freeze for at least 3 hours, or until firm.
