Pour 2 cups Sprite evenly over top of cake mix to cover. Do not mix.

If you notice dry spots, add a bit more Sprite only to the dry spots. Be careful not to add too much Sprite – just enough to wet the dry spots.

Remove the foil and bake for another 30-35 minutes or until the top is golden.

Let cool about 10-15 minutes before serving. Top with vanilla ice cream, if desired.

Notes

• If there is still dry cake mix after pouring one can of soda, add more just until you have covered all the dry patches.

• When you uncover after 20 minutes, spray the top with a little cooking oil spray for a crispier texture on top.

• Diet/Zero Sugar Sprite, or any lemon-lime soda, also works well if you wish to cut back on the sugar.

• A scoop of vanilla ice cream, a bit of homemade whipped cream, or a dollop of Cool Whip on the top are all wonderful additions to the cobbler.

• Use fresh fruit if you prefer – berries are delicious when in season! Strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, and blueberries are amazing all together but if there is one you do not care for, please just leave it out. Also, you may wish to add a sprinkle of sugar over the fruit.

• Gluten Free cake mix also works very nicely.

• Frozen blueberries, peaches, raspberries, blackberries, or strawberries are all wonderful. You can make a customized mix of different fruits instead of using a premixed variety.
