Ingredients:

4 – 5 lbs Yukon gold potatoes

3 Tbs butter

1 Tbs Tastefully Simple Onion Onion

1 Tbs Tastefully Simple Garlic Garlic

3 Tbs flour

1 cup chicken broth

2 cups of whole milk

1 tsp salt

1/2 tsp pepper

2 tsp Tastefully Simple Rustic Herb

1 1/2 cups sharp cheddar

1/2 cup Parmesan

Steps:

First you’ve got to peel the potatoes, and then, slice them until they’re about 1/8 of an inch thick, or at least real thin.

Take the butter and place this with the flour into the saucepan, and then cook this for a couple of minutes until everything’s melted and the flour taste is gone.

You then want to add everything except for the cheese, and then cook this until the sauce thickens up, whisking this every so often, and making sure it becomes very creamy and thick.

Grease a baking dish, and then place about half of the potatoes on the bottom of this. From there, take half of the cream cheese sauce and place this over the top of the potatoes

Add in about a cup of the cheddar cheese, and also about half a cup of the parmesan cheese.

From there, add in the potatoes that you have left, followed by the last parts of the sauce.

Then, add in the cheese that you have let, topping all of this.

Add foil to the top of this to cover it, and then bake it at 400 degrees for about 30 or so minutes.

Remove the foil, and then bake it for around another 25-30 minutes, or until it looks like everything’s been cooked. You should have the potatoes that are lightly browned, and the cheese should look nice and gooey

Take it out, let it sit for a second, and you can give it one final mix if you want something whipped and creamy, and from there you can serve it right away!

This is a great side dish to go with any main dish, and it works well for holidays, especially if you’ve been curious about the kinds of dishes that you want to make, and want to really wow the guests with the amazing, scalloped potatoes that make it a really bang-up sauce that’ll really change the way things are, and the benefits of this as well.
