How’s that for indulgence

This is practically the best of both worlds. The savory, sweet taste of cookie dough, drizzled with melted chocolate chips over the top, creating the perfect chocolatey dish.

All of this sits neatly on top of a brownie, which really adds to the flavor of it. This rich, sweet dessert is perfect for when your sweet tooth is calling.

While it might not be something you have every single day due to how rich it is, it’s a great one for if you really feel like indulging, but don’t feel like spending a bunch of money at a place to get the same thing that you can at home.

Ingredients:

BROWNIE:

4 ounces unsweetened chocolate, finely chopped
1 cup salted butter, melted
2 cups light brown sugar, packed
4 large eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup mini- chocolate chips

COOKIE DOUGH (EGG FREE!):

3/4 cup salted butter, at room temperature
3/4 cup light brown sugar, packed
3/4 cup granulated white sugar
3 Tablespoons milk
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 cups mini chocolate chips
1/2 cup semisweet chips + 1 teaspoon shortening for drizzle (optional)

Steps

First, prepare your brownies by preheating the oven to 325, and then spraying a pan with cooking spray.

Get a bowl that’s glass and medium-sized, melt your chocolate within the microwave for about thirty seconds, taking it out, and then stirring it, and continuing until it becomes nice and smooth.

Put this aside so that you can use it later. Meanwhile, whisk the butter and sugar in a mixing bowl, then add the vanilla extract and the eggs, whisking that as well. Finally, add in the melted chocolate. Then, add the flour until it’s barely combined, add in the chips, and then spread this to a pan that’s prepared.

Bake this for about 25-35 minutes but watch closely and then take this out of the oven, removing it so that the center is clean, and then let it cool.

For the cookie dough, use a mixer to combine the cookie dough ingredients, adding the chocolate chips last.

Put this over your brownies, and then put it in the fridge until it becomes firm. You can also put it in the freezer to make it quicker, and you want to make it firm so it’s easy to cut.

Slice the brownies with a knife, and then you can wipe it off with a towel in between since they do tend to stick.

For the chocolate drizzle, melt about half a cup of the chocolate chips with a teaspoon of shortening within the microwave, stirring till this has a smooth consistency, and then put the chocolate drizzle on top, adding more on top of this as needed.

Enjoy! These are rich, so you may only have one at a time and still get the amazing taste that these have to offer as well.
