Chili Lime Marinade Salmon :
Ingredients
โ 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
โ 1/4 cup olive oil
โ 3 tablespoons lime juice
โ 1 tablespoon chili powder
โ 1 teaspoon ground cumin
โ 2 cloves garlic, minced
โ 1 tablespoon honey
โ 1/2 teaspoon salt
โ 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
โ 1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro (optional)
Preparation
1. Prepare Marinade: In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, lime juice, chili powder, ground cumin, minced garlic, honey, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
2. Marinate Salmon: Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish or resealable plastic bag. Pour the marinade over the salmon, making sure each fillet is evenly coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours.
3. Preheat Oven or Grill: If using the oven, preheat it to 400ยฐF (200ยฐC). If grilling, preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
4. Cook Salmon: If baking, place the marinated salmon fillets on a lined baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork. If grilling, place the fillets on the grill and cook for 4-5 minutes per side, or until cooked through.
