Ingredients
β 1 pound ground beef or sausage
β 1 onion, chopped
β 2 cloves garlic, minced
β 1 large carrot, peeled and diced
β 1/2 head of cabbage, chopped
β 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
β 1 can (6 oz) tomato paste
β 4 cups beef broth
β 1 cup cooked rice
β 1 teaspoon dried thyme
β 1 teaspoon dried oregano
β 1/2 teaspoon paprika
β Salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
1. Cook the Meat: In a large pot, brown the ground beef or sausage over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain excess fat if necessary.
2. SautΓ© Vegetables: Add the chopped onion, minced garlic, and diced carrot to the pot. Cook until the onion is softened and the carrot is tender, about 5 minutes.
3. Add Cabbage: Stir in the chopped cabbage and cook for a few minutes until it starts to wilt.
4. Combine Ingredients: Add the diced tomatoes, tomato paste, beef broth, cooked rice, dried thyme, dried oregano, paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.
