Ingredients

3 cups of all-purpose flour
1½ cups of sugar
3 teaspoons of baking powder
½ teaspoon of salt
¾ teaspoon of Apple Pie Spice
2 large eggs
1 cup of milk
1 teaspoon of vanilla
2 Tablespoons of butter, softened
1½ cups of peeled and chopped apples
Oil for frying
Confectioners sugar

The process

Step 1: Pour the oil into a deep frying pan and heat it to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.

Step 2: Mix flour, sugar, salt and apple pie spice in a bowl. Break the eggs into separate bowls and whisk them lightly. All mix the milk and vanilla together in a separate bowl.

Step 3: Pour the milk mixture in the flour mixture, add butter to it and mix them together in a mixer slowly for about 30 seconds. Scrape the bottom of the bowl and increase the mixer speed from low to medium for 60 minutes.

Step 4: Fold them in apple size using a ¼ cup size of a measuring cup to drop them into the hot oil.

Step 5: While frying, they tend to rise. Turn them over carefully so you can have both sides. After frying, drain them well and sprinkle the confectioner sugar immediately over it.

Tips:

·While frying, get a frying pot with deep depth to avoid oil splashing on you.

·If you wish to fry almost everything at the same time, you can get a large frying pot to avoid frying intermittently.
