Bread pudding is great, because it’s so simple to make and tastes great. But what if you combine it with French toast?
It’s a true winner! This is one that is great because you can add a whole bunch of toppings of choice. This is a great dessert item, but also is a fun breakfast item if you really want to make it shine. You can even add your own ingredients, depending on how you like your French toast.
The sky’s the limit with how customizable this is. For example, if you absolutely hate walnuts, you don’t have to add it. If you have a fruit or something you want to add to this, then by all means, add this and see if this is what’s right for your mixture.
Ingredients:
4 slices of white bread
2 slightly beaten eggs
1 tablespoon Brown sugar
1 tablespoon cinnamon
1 stick of butter
1 teaspoon of whole milk
1 box of jello instant pudding
Vanilla wafers cookies
1 banana
Steps
Get the cinnamon, the milk, and the brown sugar, put this in a bowl. Add the eggs in one at a time, mixing this together once they’re in until everything is properly combined together
Take the bread and then dip each slice that you sliced into the mixture with the eggs.
Get a pan, and then add some butter to this. Put the piece of butter and then fry it inside the pan until each side of this has a lush golden browned color
Take this off the pan, adding more cinnamon and brown sugar to this
Put this aside, and then sauté about four cookies, or however many you’d like to have this with, and do this with the sliced bananas. Don’t burn this, but make sure that the cookies are nice and soft.
Take this out of the pan and put both a banana along with the cookies in the center part of the toast.
You can prepare your pudding as the instructions say, or make your own depending on what you want, and then add this as a drizzle over the top part of your French toast to create a glaze. You may need to heat it up and let it become a little bit more liquid to really get a great pudding consistency from this.

Can I use my own pudding for this?
You can, but it does delay the cooking process. If you want to make your own and have a recipe, don’t be afraid to heat it up so it creates a luscious topping that really enhances the dish.
What ingredients are good for this?
The recipe calls for many basic ingredients, and most of the time, the bananas are good.
However, some people like more flavor, and may want more bananas along with nuts. You don’t want to use bananas that are too ripe, as it can ruin the banana part of the mixture.
You can also substitute the pecans for some walnuts, or you can also add other toppings such as chocolate chips, more cinnamon, strawberries, and the like. There’s a ton of great toppings that work well for this and provide a great dish.
