Want to have the perfect dinner sitting there ready for you to enjoy?
Then try this one.
Salmon is a great fish because it’s airy, fluffy, and it also is very easy to consume. Not just that, the asparagus adds a great touch. Combined with the lemon butter with a taste of garlic in there, it’s something that you will not be able to get enough of. The foil helps it cook faster, better, and really creates a unique taste to all of this, making it some of the best kinds of salmon for you to enjoy, no matter what time of day it is.
Ingredients:
– 2 salmon fillets
– 2 tablespoons vegetable broth or chicken broth
– 1 1/2 tablespoon fresh lemon juice, or to taste
– 1 tablespoon of your favorite hot sauce (we used Sriracha)
– 4 teaspoons minced garlic (4 cloves)
– Salt and fresh ground black pepper, to taste
– 3 – 4 tablespoons butter, diced into small cubes (or ghee)
– 2 tablespoons fresh chopped parsley or cilantro
– 1 lb (450g) medium-thick asparagus, woody ends trimmed
Steps
First, you want to prepare the salmon in different little foil packs that you can. You should preheat your oven to 425 to begin with this
Cut a couple sheets of foil and then let them sit there on the countertop. You should have two sheets of this.
In a tiny bowl, combine the garlic butter sauce ingredients for this. This includes the broth, the lemon juice, and the hot sauce
Season each side of the fillets with some pepper and salt, dividing the salmon on the foil that’s near the center, and then putting the asparagus that’s trimmed onto one side, and then, have it sit on the long direction where the foil is.
You can season these fillets as you need to, especially with more salt, pepper, and garlic over the top of this.
Add some of the garlic butter, drizzling this in a generous manner over the fillets, along with the asparagus
Divide the pieces of butter among the packets of foil, and then layer them over the fillet along with the asparagus
Take the salmon, and then make sure that they’re covered in foil, covering it fully, crimping the edges, and then, wrapping the ends of this upwards. Try not to wrap it too tightly, but instead add a bit of space in order to help the heat begin to circulate through this, to properly cook everything and make sure that the salmon isn’t left too undercooked.
Take the foil packs of salmon, and then place these on the baking sheet, making sure they’re sealed upwards inside of there, and bake this until the salmon is fully cooked, usually around 9-12 minutes or so
Once this is done, unwrap the foil form the salmon and then, add more lemon juice, adding parsley to garnish, or some cilantro with a lemon slice or two. From there, transfer this to a serving dish, serving this with a bit of extra lemon and garlic butter as needed, depending on the needs of the person, and how much that they like.
Enjoy! This is a great dish that’s simple and offers a ton of great ways to get the most out of your lemon, garlic salmon experience that you won’t be able to get enough of!
