Ingredients

Preparation
1. Reduce the Cider: In a small saucepan, bring the apple cider to a boil over medium-high heat. Reduce heat and simmer until the cider is reduced to about 1/4 cup. Let it cool slightly.
2. Prepare the Doughnut Batter: Preheat your oven to 375ยฐF (190ยฐC). Grease a mini muffin tin or doughnut hole pan. In a large bowl, whisk together the sugar, melted butter, and egg until well combined. Stir in the reduced apple cider.
3. Combine Dry Ingredients: In another bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
