Ingredients:
– 1 box (15.25 ounces) chocolate cake mix (plus ingredients called for on the box)
– 1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
– 1 cup coconut flakes
– 1 cup chopped almonds
– 1 cup chocolate fudge sauce
– 1 container (8 ounces) whipped topping
Preparation:
1. Prepare and bake the chocolate cake according to the package instructions. Allow the cake to cool completely.
2. Once cooled, poke holes all over the cake using a fork.
3. Pour the sweetened condensed milk evenly over the cake, letting it soak into the holes.
4. Spread the coconut flakes and chopped almonds evenly over the top of the cake.
5. Drizzle the chocolate fudge sauce over the coconut and almonds.
6. Spread the whipped topping over the entire cake.
7. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
