You do not necessarily need an oven, jst with your slow cooker, you can have a juicy pork chop supreme. If you want your pork chop to be creamier, you can add Parmesan cheese in it and if you want to add spice to your dish, you can add garlic powder or chili powder.

You can try this recipe on a sunday evening with your families at home. This dish is a twist to the common pork chop, giving your regular pork chop a special touch that you would love. Ingredients

3 lb pork chops, boneless, skinless, cut into 1½-inch thickness

5¼ oz yellow onion, cut into rings

1 lemon, cut into rings

½ cup ketchup

½ cup brown sugar

¼ cup apple juice

salt and ground black pepper, to taste

To Serve

¼ cup vegetables, roasted, per serving

¼ cup mashed potatoes, per serving

How to prepare

Step 1:

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Then in a bowl, combine brown sugar, apple juice, and ketchup. Mix until the sugar has dissolved. Leave it aside.

Step 2:

In a baking casserole, place the pork and season the pork chops with salt and pepper to taste. Then top each pork chop with onion and lemon rings.

Step 3:

Pour the prepared sauce on top of pork chops and cover with foil. Allow to bake for about 1 hour until it is fully cooked.

Step 4:

Remove from the heat and serve together with potatoes and vegetables cooked to your preference. Enjoy!
