½ head of cabbage chopped
1 cup celery diced
1 cup white or yellow onion diced
1 cup carrots diced
1 green bell pepper diced
2-3 cloves garlic minced
4 cups chicken broth
14 oz can basil oregano, garlic diced tomatoes
1 teaspoon oregano
1 teaspoon basil
½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
Few shakes of black pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt optional
How to prepare
Step 1:
In a large pot, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat, and then add celery, onions, bell peppers, and carrots. Saute until slightly soft or tender.
Step 2:
Add in the garlic, stir and allow to cook until it starts to smell or fragrant. Then pour in chicken broth, while you also add and stir in tomatoes and cabbage.
Step 3:
