Dogs Can Be Left or Right-Pawed: Just like humans can be left or right-handed, dogs can show a preference for one paw over the other. This is called pawedness, and studies have shown that about 50% of dogs are right-pawed, 50% are left-pawed, and some are ambidextrous!
